Now that’s what I call a stylish bride. Such a beautiful couple and loving the red jumpsuit with my Flame Feather hat.

I love creating bespoke pieces tailored to suit the client and event and it’s such a wonderful feeling when someone tries on thier hat for the first time. Knowing they have something handmade and unique to them really adds to the special experience of wearing a couture hat.

I had such a wonderful weekend teaching at WestDean College. What a talented bunch I had, some had never done millinery before and by the end of the course walked away with a finished hat with handmade and dyed flowers! And they all looked good on…. I’m very impressed!

John Boyd, Royal Milliner, passed away last week peacefully at the age of 92. A wonderful Milliner, boss and dear friend. He had the most incredible millinery career spanning over 70 years and made many beautiful hats for Princess Diana and Princess Anne. Working alongside him for 5 years I learnt so much, he was the most inspiring and generous millinery teacher a young hat maker could ask for! He had an amazing zest for life and sense of fun, we often sat telling stories over a coffee and our sewing and he loved a good hat shop party!

A true unique soul xxxx RIP
